Occupation: Retired High School Counselor

Age: 72

You deserve a full-time board member. Now that I am retired, I can devote the necessary attention to the students of MCOE. I am committed to fully meeting my responsibilities as a Trustee.

I am a native of Salinas. I have lived in Salinas for 72 years. I graduated from Alisal High School in 1971. I am also a graduate of UCSC and SJSU.

My background is in education, real estate, and politics. I worked as a high school counselor at Alisal High School for 40 years. I am a real estate broker with the State of California. I served on the Salinas City Council for 13 years and as a Trustee of the Alisal Union School District for 8 years.

At the present time, I am a Trustee with the Alisal Union School District. I mentor foster students with the UCSC Smith Society. I am an active participant in the following organizations: NAACP, Elks Lodge, Worklight, and the Junipero Serra Franciscan Fraternity of Carmel.

There is no greater thing we do in life than to serve our community. I hope you allow me to serve you and the students of MCOE.
